A club is only as strong as the commitment of its members, and as the saying goes: many hands make light work! That’s why, even though everyone is busy, volunteers are so important and valued. The more people who help out, the more fun it stays for everyone :)
There’s always something we can use your help and expertise for, whether it’s a one-time task or ongoing, big or small! The Volunteer Coordinator oversees all committees and can answer any questions you have. So don’t hesitate to get in touch if you want to know more about a specific role, how much time it roughly requires, who else is in a committee, and so on!
p.s. the volunteer coordinator herself is also looking for extra VVA'ers that want to join in the 'Volunteer committee' ;)
Finance Team is looking for VVA members who enjoy supporting financial matters: maintaining oversight and working accurately. Read more >>
Technical Committee: is looking for a new Head of the Technical Committee as well as several new members.
Sponsorship Committee: together with sponsors, we create an additional source of income for the club. Will you help us with this? We’re looking for a coordinator, a proactive doer - someone who can turn brainstorming into action. Experience would be fantastic!
Activities Committee is looking for organizers and creative minds! These VVA members focus on fun parties and activities off the field.
Tournament Committee: responsible for organizing the Frits de Wever tournament and possibly other fun tournaments as well!
Volunteer Committee: are you someone who can enthusiastically lead fellow VVA members and enjoy implementing policy?
Communications Committee is looking for members who want to take on specific communication tasks, in coordination with the committee, led by Fenna (board – communications). Think of updating the VVA website, managing Instagram, writing news updates, creating flyers, putting together newsletters, etc.
Additional roles and themes: feel free to contact the volunteer coordinator, as besides the vacancies listed above, there are always ad hoc roles or themes where help is needed.
